If you're looking for a way to make your home look more like the Pinterest boards you love, you've come to the right place. We've got the perfect solution: acrylic templates!
Acrylic templates are versatile, easy to use, and can be used with any wood variety you want! They're also super durable and can be used many times if cared for. You'll just need some basic tools like a drill, router, and circular saw or miter saw, as well as some patience and creativity!
The first step is deciding what you want your template to be. We've taken our classic designs and made them easier for you to make out of any wood variety and color you choose. The sky's the limit when it comes to building something new out of our acrylic templates. Once you know what shape or size you want it to be, measure how big your cut needs to be on each side of the template. Then simply attach one side of your template using double-sided tape or hot glue to the piece of wood. Using a template bit on a router, carefully follow the template to cut out the shape and joinery holes. Sand, assemble, and finish to your liking!
Joinery Methods:
- Dowels: Router the circles on the templates and create legs with 1" Dowels
- Mortise and Tennon: Router the rectangular holes and use a table saw to create rectangle-shaped legs that plug into the table top and bottom
Both methods also include a mini template to mark the center of the holes for miller dowels.
Template Size: 10.75" Diameter
