The story of Twenty Five and Pine began with humble beginnings as Parts and Pieces Studio. Learn how our name reflects both our house number and the roots of our craft, starting with pine wood and evolving into the high-quality hardwood furniture we create today.
Every business has a beginning, and ours started under a different name. We were originally Parts and Pieces Studio, but before we even got rolling with furniture, we realized that wasn’t the right fit. We knew we needed a name that felt more personal, more us. And that's when Twenty Five and Pine came into the picture.
Why Twenty Five?
The number twenty-five holds a special meaning for us—it represents both our house number and the age we were when we launched our business. It felt fitting to honor those early days of our journey and the place where it all began.
And Why Pine?
Well, Pine just sounded better than “Twenty Five and Walnut”! When we started, everything we made was crafted from pine, and while we’ve since moved on to using high-quality hardwoods for all of our pieces, we still prototype with pine. It’s a nod to the roots of our business, where it all began.
At Twenty Five and Pine, we believe that great design has to come from a place of authenticity and a little bit of fun. We’re proud of where we started and the journey that brought us here. Our name may have changed, but our commitment to quality, sustainability, and craftsmanship hasn’t wavered.
